I am excited to try the heirloom tomato seeds I had saved from last summer. I am unsure of the variety as I picked them up at the Farmer’s Market and didn’t think to ask. I can’t wait!
I’m always excited about planting beans and squash. So many interesting varieties!
Tomatoes? Peppers? Where we live, we’re lucky to get weather that allows a pepper crop without a greenhouse, but I I found some seeds a friend gave me a few years ago and I’m going to see if they’ll sprout. They would’ve done well last summer, so hoping we get a similar summer this year. The kids are finally able to entertain themselves and help a bit, so hoping to grow more.
Greens! Lettuce, kale, chard, beet tops, lots of Asian greens, as many as I can! Buttercrunch lettuce is a favorite.

I want to grow sugar snap peas and onions in the spring and tomatoes, bell pepper, squash, both yellow and zucchini, and watermelon. I live in Mississippi, so my climate is much different from yours.
I’m excited to learn how to maximize yield, as I have a very small garden area to work with! Looking forward to growing some sugar snap peas, especially.
