Pickling Spice
Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp black peppercorns
  • 2tbsp mustard seeds
  • 2tsp coriander seeds
  • 2tbsp dill seed
  • 2tbsp allspice berries
  • 1tbsp crushed red-pepper flakes
  • 10-12 bay leavescrumbled
Instructions
  1. Mix the spices together and store in a sealed jar.
  2. Use 2-3 Tablespoons per quart jar.
  3. On the average, you need one pound of pickles per quart jar.
